1. Open the right side access door
CAT Comm Adapter 3 478-0235 Diagnostics for Caterpillar
2. Drain the fuel filter (4).
3. Disconnect the hose assembly (1). Disconnect the hose assembly (3).
Use Tool (A) to remove the fuel filter (4).
Remove Fuel Filter Base (2)
Installation Steps 1. Install the fuel filter base (2)
in the reverse order of removal
