2. Remove the bolts (1) from the water pump (2).
3. Remove the water pump (2) from the cylinder block.
4. Remove the seal (3).
Installation steps

1. Ensure that the water pump is clean and free from wear and damage. Replace the water pump, if necessary. Clean the sealing surface of the water pump.

2. Clean the sealing surface on the cylinder block.
3. Install the new seal (3) on the water pump (2).
4. Install the water pump (2) on the cylinder block.
Note: Make sure that the water pump is facing correctly.
5. Install the bolts (1) to the water pump. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 N-m (221 lb i n).
6. Fill the coolant to the cooling system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant-Replace" for the correct steps.
